One of the largest polo grounds in Europe is practically the lodge’s neighbour. Through summer you can watch matches from the lawns — bring a picnic or book the clubhouse bar overlooking the pitches.
The 600-acre estate also hosts festivals, classic-car shows and country fairs through the year, and The Millstone Hare on site does a smart lunch even on non-match days.
