Stowe is one of Britain’s great landscape gardens — vast, dramatic and dotted with classical temples, lakes and sweeping lawns. It’s a place for long, slow walks and big horizons.

The scale is impressive: miles of paths, mirrored lakes, woodland routes and postcard views at every turn. The café at the entrance is a good stop before or after exploring.
